What? A Bird of Paradise on Groundhog Day!?

I just snapped this! Our first Bird of Paradise bloom. So THIS is what life in the desert is like! 80 degrees and tropical blooms in early February. I'll take it!! (Apologies to my Jersey girlfriends!)

    Thanks, Dionne! I know what you’re talking about – I lived in western Oregon (Corvallis) for 15 years. The dampness is what got to me.
